Platform Administrator

TL;DR

Platform Administrator: Supporting lab functions and IT infrastructure for a U.S. Government cyber incident response program with an accent on hardware/software provisioning, asset management, and Apple product administration. Focus on maintaining secure cloud-based engagement environments and providing technical support to the user community.

Location: Must be based in Arlington, VA (Onsite)

What you will do

• Provision and issue IT equipment to end users while maintaining an accurate inventory database.
• Manage and support Virtual Private Network (VPN) and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (e.g., Cisco, Citrix, VMWare, AWS).
• Administer and maintain Apple products and operating systems.
• Provide technical advice and troubleshooting assistance to the user community.
• Track hardware and software assets, including license management.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required (ability to obtain TS/SCI).
• Ability to obtain DHS Suitability.
• 2+ years of experience in lab management or systems administration.
• Proficiency with Linux/Unix and MacOS environments.
• Experience with imaging workstations.

Nice to have

• DoD 8140.01 IAT Level II certification.
• Experience with virtualization automation and optimization.
• Background in writing technical procedures and standard operating procedures.
