What you will do

• Conduct pre-flight inspections and maintenance checks to ensure equipment readiness.
• Execute flight testing to evaluate system performance, reliability, and safety.
• Record and analyze flight logs, sensor data, and media recordings.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to identify system improvements.
• Ensure all operations comply with FAA regulations and safety standards.
• Perform risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies during flight operations.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident due to ITAR/EAR export control regulations.
• FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate required.
• 1-2 years of drone industry experience with at least 25 documented hours as Pilot in Command (PIC).
• Strong technical knowledge of sUAS platforms and multi-rotor aircraft.
• Ability to work in outdoor environments and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts and overtime as operational needs require.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, aviation, or related field.
• Experience with PX4, Ardupilot, Mavlink, and QGroundControl.
• Test Pilot School (TPS) graduate or military flight experience.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and FAA Drone Zone procedures.
• Experience with fixed-wing and FPV drone platforms.
