Senior Information Security Engineer (Windows)

Location: East Syracuse, New York, United States. Travel up to 30% may be required.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and manage Group Policy Objects to enforce security configurations and organizational standards.
• Configure, administer, harden, and deploy Windows Server and workstation environments.
• Implement Active Directory security, user and group management, organizational unit structures, and policy enforcement.
• Design role-based access control and least-privilege access models.
• Deploy and manage endpoint protection and antivirus solutions.
• Perform Windows security assessments, remediation, documentation, and customer knowledge transfer.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen and meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience administering and securing Microsoft Windows environments.
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, role-based access control, identity management, and endpoint protection platforms.
• Understanding of Windows security architecture, system hardening, security assessments, and remediation.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Nice to have

• Experience with Hyper-V, Splunk, PDQ, RSA Authentication Manager, Ansible, PowerShell, SIEM platforms, and JIRA.
• Knowledge of NIST, CIS Benchmarks, or ISO 27001 security frameworks.
• Experience with enterprise or multi-tenant environments, data-at-rest protection, and stakeholder management.
• Current DoD clearance and certifications such as Security+, CISSP, Microsoft security or identity certifications, or GIAC.
