Data Governance & Platform Manager (AI)

Location: Remote in Brazil, Mexico, or Colombia

Base salary: $75,000–$120,000 per year

hirify.global operates an on-demand marketplace for lawn care and outdoor services and is expanding into a broader home-services platform across three brands.

What you will do

• Own the data governance roadmap across product, marketing, operations, and finance.
• Build automated monitoring for source data, pipelines, reports, freshness, anomalies, and schema changes.
• Develop data lineage, impact analysis, and data-contract practices across production systems, dbt, Segment, and Lightdash.
• Lead the migration from Tableau and Metabase to Lightdash, including workspace structure, permissions, certification, naming, and query performance.
• Extend the governed semantic layer and manage Segment event standards, ownership, property definitions, and drift detection.
• Govern AI access to warehouse data and implement data-security, privacy, retention, and documentation processes.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with data warehouses and pipelines, including SQL and comparable platform technologies.
• Experience maintaining a BI platform and an event-tracking plan at company scale.
• Ability to write SQL, debug Airflow DAGs, configure permissions, and build automation personally.
• Experience managing priorities and other people's output while continuing to contribute technically.
• Product-minded approach to turning stakeholder needs into a prioritized data roadmap.
• Daily use of AI tools for quality checks, automation, anomaly triage, and documentation.

Nice to have

• Experience with Redshift, dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, Segment, Lightdash, Tableau, or Metabase.
• Experience with AI-powered analytics engineering, data observability, or data contracts.
