Engine Systems NPI Team Lead

Location: Mossville, Illinois, United States; onsite five days a week. Up to 5% travel is expected. Relocation is available.

Salary: $147,760–$221,640 annually.

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional engineering, supply chain, and production-support teams through Engine Systems NPI programs from launch to start of production.
• Use and champion NPI management tools, PMO planning, communication matrices, and related program-management processes.
• Deliver program commitments for time, cost, and quality in alignment with Power & Energy enterprise goals and client expectations.
• Manage the relationship and serve as the main point of contact between Advanced Power Technology and Power & Energy clients.
• Lead client funding and budget management through Annual Business Planning and subsequent RBM cycles.
• Facilitate governance meetings and develop R&D efficiency initiatives using AI where applicable.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• Extensive knowledge of tactical, strategic, and operational planning.
• Expert communication skills and the ability to interpret and convey complex information effectively.
• Extensive problem-solving knowledge applied to organizational, operational, and process challenges.
• Extensive knowledge of program-management policies and techniques for coordinating related projects and resources.
• Experience with project-management tools, team leadership, influencing, conflict resolution, budgeting, governance, and advanced power technology systems.

Nice to have

• Understanding of Advanced Power Technology electronics and software systems development.
• Experience leading teams with direct accountability for results.
• Experience managing conflict through negotiation and escalation.
