Systems Analyst (Java)

TL;DR

What you will do

• Analyse system logic, technical documentation, and business processes for a business-critical payment platform.
• Read and understand Java source code to perform reverse engineering and support system analysis.
• Create and maintain detailed system and technical documentation to identify gaps and risks.
• Support the technical upgrade and gradual migration from TMS to RTMS.
• Define test cases for automated testing and coordinate vulnerability scan remediation.
• Collaborate with Java developers, architects, and stakeholders to support REST, SOAP, and RMI integrations.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience as a Systems Analyst, Technical Analyst, or IT Analyst.
• Ability to read and understand Java 8+ source code, including Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate/JPA.
• Practical knowledge of relational databases, specifically Oracle.
• Experience with application servers such as JBoss or WildFly and REST API analysis.
• English proficiency level B2.
• Ability to work 4 days per week from the Warsaw office.

Nice to have

• Previous hands-on Java development experience.
• Domain expertise in payments, acquiring, terminal management, or financial services.
• Experience with RabbitMQ, Hazelcast, or distributed transaction patterns.
• Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools such as Fortify or Sonatype.
