Senior Systems Business Analyst (FX Team)

Location: Kraków, Poland; hybrid model with 3 days per week in the office, or 2 days for a parent of a child up to 4 years old

What you will do

• Lead analysis and solution definition for business-critical applications used by FX traders in New York.
• Discover and document complex business and functional requirements, scope, dependencies, risks, use cases, data flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Facilitate workshops with traders, operations, product owners, architects, developers, QA specialists, and other stakeholders.
• Partner with architecture and engineering teams to validate non-functional, data, control, and operational requirements.
• Support delivery teams through impact assessment, root cause analysis, testing, user acceptance testing, release planning, training, and post-release validation.
• Manage requirement changes and contribute to roadmap and backlog prioritization while championing Agile ways of working.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree; Accounting, Banking, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in systems or business analysis, including complex requirements ownership across the systems development lifecycle.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and MS Visio or equivalent process-modelling tools.
• Strong stakeholder facilitation, analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile delivery practices, including backlog refinement, acceptance criteria, testing, and release readiness.
• Technical fluency in SQL, databases, APIs, system integrations, data flows, and infrastructure concepts, plus experience with business-critical applications, controls, regulatory change, or production support.
• Fluent English required.

• Knowledge of foreign exchange, capital markets, trading workflows, or financial services technology.
