TL;DR

Member Services Representative (Mortgage Processing): Creating and processing mortgage loan applications for purchase or refinance with an accent on compliance and accurate closing/funding. Focus on ensuring loan quality, managing member contact, and adhering to mortgage lending guidelines.

Location: 100% onsite in Fort Worth, Texas

Salary: $18 - $20/Hr

What you will do

  • Create new mortgage loans and process applications for real estate purchase or refinance.
  • Prepare Loan Quality Initiative requirements, perform credit analysis, and ensure quality control of loan information.
  • Execute accurate closing and funding of mortgage loans across 50 states using the Prime Alliance LFC system.
  • Handle incoming member phone calls and assist with loan applications through the loan origination system.
  • Ensure the security and confidentiality of all account and related information.
  • Represent the Mortgage Department at Credit Union events, seminars, and special projects.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Must be based in and work 100% onsite in Fort Worth, Texas.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks under high-volume pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills.
  • Ability to pass applicable pre-hire compliance checks.

Nice to have

  • Previous banking or Credit Union experience.
  • Mortgage lending experience and knowledge of FNMA, NCUA, and AAFCU guidelines.
  • Experience in Residential Mortgage Closing and Funding.
  • Working knowledge of Desktop Underwriting, Prime Alliance, and Episys.
  • Spanish language skills.
