What you will do

• Design and build scalable backend services using Python to support AI-driven products.
• Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems like Workday and ServiceNow.
• Build and optimize ETL pipelines, data workflows, and event-driven architectures.
• Enable AI/ML use cases by supporting data pipelines, retrieval systems (RAG), and embedding workflows.
• Implement observability (logging, metrics, tracing) to ensure production-grade reliability.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to architecture decisions across data and AI platforms.

Requirements

• Strong backend engineering experience, preferably with Python.
• Proven experience in data engineering: SQL, ETL pipelines, and large-scale data processing.
• Hands-on experience integrating Salesforce with other SaaS platforms.
• Experience working with APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Knowledge of Azure and modern data stacks (e.g., Airflow, dbt, Spark).
• Familiarity with GenAI tooling, including RAG and embedding frameworks.

Nice to have

• Experience with vector databases and data retrieval systems.
• Exposure to machine learning workflows or data science collaboration.
• Frontend experience with React or Angular for full-stack contributions.
• Experience optimizing performance, latency, and cost in AI systems.
