Business Development Manager (Fintech)

Location: Remote (Must have in-depth understanding of South African financial markets and regulatory environment)

What you will do

• Identify and develop business opportunities within the region to drive growth and market penetration.
• Acquire and manage relationships with Introducing Brokers (IBs) and KOLs to increase client acquisition.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the local market.
• Promote multi-asset trading products, the internal trading terminal, and the MT5 platform.
• Ensure all operations comply with local regulations and company policies.
• Build and manage a local team to foster a high-performance culture.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial services, specifically focusing on cryptocurrency and CFDs.
• Proven track record in acquiring and managing relationships with IBs or KOLs.
• In-depth understanding of South African financial markets and the regulatory environment.
• Proficiency in English and local languages is crucial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA).
• Familiarity with trading platforms, especially MetaTrader 5 (MT5).
