What you will do

• Prepare audit schedules and supporting workpapers to agreed timelines and presentation standards.
• Manage external audit queries and investigate P&L/balance sheet variances.
• Execute month-end close activities, including accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Maintain and update the rolling 13-week cash flow forecast and monitor cash positions.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support to the CFO and Finance leadership.

Requirements

• Newly or recently qualified ACA, ACCA, or equivalent (Big 4 or mid-tier practice background preferred).
• Strong technical accounting grounding and double-entry skills.
• Proven experience preparing audit schedules and working with external auditors.
• Advanced Excel skills for working with large data sets.
• Experience working with international groups.
• Must be based in London, UK to support the hybrid working model.

Nice to have

• Experience in software, technology, or subscription-based (SaaS) businesses.
• Familiarity with Salesforce-native ERP systems such as Certinia or FinancialForce.
• Understanding of SaaS metrics and PE-backed reporting environments.
• Experience with FRS102/UK GAAP.
