What you will do

• Support month-end and year-end finance processes, including the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with management reporting, financial analysis, and the maintenance of accruals and prepayments.
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities while investigating financial data variances.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Collaborate with the Finance Manager to improve overall finance processes and internal controls.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Assistant Accountant or in a similar finance role.
• Experience within FMCG, manufacturing, or distribution environments.
• Immediately available or available at short notice.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• AAT qualified, studying towards ACCA/CIMA/ACA, or qualified by experience.
