Senior DevOps Engineer

Location: Remote; work may be performed from home, the beach, or the office.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and automate build, release, deployment, monitoring, and configuration activities.
• Bridge development, operations, and infrastructure teams across a diverse portfolio of client projects.
• Work with public cloud platforms, containerized solutions, CI/CD tools, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Support cloud security assessments, migrations, governance, design, deployment, assessment, and refactoring projects.
• Design and implement disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering, platform, development, and operations teams while producing technical documentation and architecture diagrams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps or similar functions.
• Experience with AWS or Azure, Docker, AWS ECS Fargate, Jenkins, Terraform, PowerShell, Groovy, Bash, databases, VPN solutions, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery tools.
• Understanding of Agile methodology and the ability to manage multiple work streams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proficiency in English.
• Ability to produce technical documentation and architecture diagrams.
• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes, GCP, private and on-premises cloud infrastructure, Ansible, Python, and additional CI/CD or monitoring solutions.
• Experience with data warehouse and analytics platforms such as AWS Athena, Redshift, BigQuery, Azure Data Lake Storage, Synapse, and Snowflake.
• AWS, Terraform, Azure, or Google Cloud certifications.
