Energy and Power System Architect (Automotive)

What you will do

• Represent expertise in energy and power management to automotive customers.
• Define system solutions for future energy and power management in software-defined vehicles.
• Innovate in energy networks, power conversion, and power distribution.
• Engage with OEMs on proof-of-concept studies demonstrating NXP solutions in real vehicle energy networks.
• Build technical and management relationships with OEMs and position integrated automotive hardware and software solutions.
• Collaborate with technical and commercial teams to define solution positioning and supporting materials.

Requirements

• Experience defining and developing automotive E/E architectures.
• Knowledge of energy networks, power conversion, and power distribution, including system trade-offs and OEM performance metrics.
• Strong experience with body control units, domain controllers, and zonal ECUs.
• 8+ years of experience in the automotive market.
• Previous engagement with automotive Tier 1 suppliers and/or OEMs.
• Experience with hardware, software, and system solutions supporting the evolution of vehicle architectures, plus strong communication and influencing skills.
