What you will do
- Lead complex, transversal projects autonomously from ideation to completion, starting from high-level problem statements.
- Define and communicate the technical vision across multiple teams to ensure alignment and knowledge sharing.
- Serve as a go-to expert and provide mentorship and guidance across the engineering organization.
- Identify opportunities for impactful initiatives and advocate for customer needs across product domains.
- Set and uphold quality standards, driving the adoption of best practices in architecture, security, and DevOps.
- Write production-ready code and participate in high-level software design discussions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in back-end development using TypeScript, NodeJS, Python, Ruby, or similar languages.
- Strong expertise in delivering systems focused on security, scalability, availability, and performance.
- Proven ability to lead complex projects affecting multiple teams and domains.
- Deep understanding of system design to solve complex, impactful problems.
- Effective and proactive communication skills for cross-domain collaboration.
- Must be based in or able to work from the Madrid office (Hybrid).
Nice to have
- Experience with AWS (Serverless or EKS).
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, OpenSearch, or Redis.
- Experience with REST API or GraphQL APIs.
- Familiarity with React.
