What you will do

• Develop end-to-end features for core networking backend services from design to production rollout.
• Build high-scale services with a strong emphasis on performance, reliability, and security.
• Plan system architecture to ensure scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Solve networking challenges regarding traffic flows, proxy behavior, and protocol-level edge cases.
• Troubleshoot complex networking issues using packet inspection tools like Wireshark.
• Collaborate with engineers to deliver high-quality, tested code through active code reviews.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with 2+ years focused on backend Node.js.
• Deep understanding of the Node.js event loop, async patterns, and memory management.
• Proven experience building and operating production backend services.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols: TCP/IP/UDP, DNS, HTTP/1/2/3, TLS, and WebSockets.
• Experience with MongoDB, Redis, and Kubernetes.
• English proficiency (strong written and verbal communication skills).

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS and SaaS environments.
• Expertise in debugging production networking issues such as latency, packet loss, and TLS handshakes.
• Experience with observability tooling and incident response.
