TL;DR

Agile Scrum Master (GovTech): Managing the Scrum process for the United States Postal Service's Finance and Payment Technology Services with an accent on data-intensive application development and mainframe systems. Focus on conducting Agile ceremonies, managing Scrum artifacts, and coordinating between development and testing teams to ensure IT architecture compliance.

Location: Must be a US citizen based in the US. Remote or Hybrid (Washington DC).

Salary: $94,150 - $120,000 Annually

What you will do

  • Lead Agile ceremonies and provide direction to development and testing team members.
  • Manage the entire Scrum process, including the maintenance of Scrum artifacts and tools.
  • Coordinate release management and support the USPS management team's change management efforts.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of data-intensive applications, including COBOL mainframe systems.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to reduce risk and increase customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • US citizenship is required for USPS Public Trust security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5-8 years of experience (or 9-12 years of relevant experience without a degree).
  • Professional certification as a Scrum Master.
  • Deep knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
  • Proven experience utilizing DevOps and Agile methods to promote collaboration.

Nice to have

  • Experience using VersionOne or equivalent Agile project management software.
  • Knowledge of payroll systems and processing.
  • Experience with mainframe systems.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices.
