Personnel Security Assistant

Salary: $50,000 – $55,000

What you will do

• Review Public Trust and National Security investigation requests for completeness and accuracy.
• Provide guidance to internal and external customers regarding personnel security processes and policies.
• Apply CFR and OPM Suitability standards to analyze information and recommend adjudication outcomes.
• Maintain the RD Suitability Desk Guide and develop training materials for new and existing staff.
• Monitor security databases daily to ensure data accuracy and notify leadership of inconsistencies.
• Research and interpret federal, state, and local laws and regulations to implement policies.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Tier 3 Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree with at least 1 year of experience supporting personnel security adjudication under 5 CFR 731.
• Experience with systems including DISS, PIPS/CVS, e-QIP, and OPM NP2 Secure Portal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong oral and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work onsite in St. Louis, MO.
