Quality Specialist (f/m/d) 80-100% (Supplier Quality)

Location: Hybrid role in Schaffhausen, Switzerland

What you will do

• Support the local quality strategy and promote continuous improvement and sustainable problem-solving.
• Qualify and approve suppliers and conduct process, system, and product audits.
• Define supplier quality requirements and lead First Article Inspections and qualification processes.
• Monitor supplier performance using KPIs such as PPM and OTD, and drive improvement initiatives.
• Investigate non-conformances, perform root cause analysis, and ensure corrective actions through 8D and CAPA.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience in supplier quality management and supplier audits, including ISO 9001, VDA 6.3, IATF 16949, or similar standards.
• Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, and First Article Inspection.
• Strong problem-solving skills using 8D, 5-Why, and Ishikawa methods.
• Understanding of SPC, MSA, Gauge R&R, technical drawings, GD&T, and material or component specifications.
• Good spoken and written English and German required.
