Engineer Measurement Technology / Electrical & Physical Testing of Plastics (Electrical Testing)

What you will do

• Conduct accurate and timely electrical and physical testing of plastics for R&D and commercial projects.
• Act as a testing expert for Technology, Marketing, and other hirify.global sites.
• Prepare test specimens using mechanical manufacturing equipment such as diamond saws.
• Develop innovative testing methods and implement IEC and ISO testing standards.
• Document test results according to ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation requirements and administer tests in the LIMS.
• Support trainees with technical guidance and participate in site safety and environmental improvement activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree, or equivalent technical qualification, in electrical or electrotechnical fields.
• Approximately 8–10 years of experience in high-frequency technical fields and solid knowledge of high-voltage testing.
• Programming or measurement-analysis experience with VEE, LabVIEW, Python, or Excel Macro.
• Electrical qualification to perform electrical testing, with knowledge of metrology and new technologies.
• Hands-on experience with machine environments, maintenance, and repair.
• Fluent written and verbal English and German required.
