Salary: CAD 109,380–154,420 per year

What you will do
- Develop and execute verification plans covering architectural and microarchitectural specifications for mixed signal components.
- Build and maintain test benches and verification environments to validate functionality, timing, and power requirements.
- Create analog behavioral models and system simulation models to identify and resolve issues during the presilicon phase.
- Replicate, root cause, and debug presilicon failures, implementing corrective actions to resolve test failures efficiently.
- Collaborate with digital/analog architects, RTL developers, and physical design teams to optimize verification flow and meet design goals.
- Enhance verification infrastructure and methodologies, using scripting and AI-based solutions to streamline test plan generation and test triage.
Requirements
- Location/eligibility: must live and work from Canada (remote work from other countries is not permitted).
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering (or related) with 1+ years in design verification, or Master’s degree with 0+ years.
- Proficiency in SystemVerilog and Verilog for verification.
- Experience debugging presilicon issues and implementing corrective actions.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python to automate verification processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills for analyzing complex design challenges.
Nice to have
- Expertise in OVM and UVM methodologies.
- Experience developing test environments and planning for coverage and reliability.
- Familiarity with OOP principles in the context of design verification.
- Experience leveraging AI-based tools to enhance verification methodologies.
