IT Network Infrastructure & Cybersecurity Intern (Cybersecurity): Assisting in the monitoring and maintenance of enterprise network services and security controls with an accent on LAN/WAN connectivity, firewall administration, and vulnerability management. What you will do
- Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity services.
- Support the administration of security technologies such as firewalls, VPNs, switches, and load balancers.
- Participate in cybersecurity initiatives, including vulnerability management, security monitoring, and compliance reviews.
- Contribute to infrastructure projects involving cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments.
- Maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, and operational procedures.
- Analyze and resolve technical incidents and service requests.
Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled in a university or higher education institution and able to provide a valid internship agreement (school convention).
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT, Telecommunications, or Network Engineering.
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP, Routing, Switching, DNS, and VPN technologies.
- Basic knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, scripting, and automation.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts.
- Proficiency in French.
