TL;DR

Senior Development Lead (Guidewire ClaimCenter): Overseeing the delivery of build artefacts and managing Agile delivery teams for Guidewire ClaimCenter solutions with an accent on technical leadership and architectural governance. Focus on designing high-quality integrations, coaching developers, and aligning technical delivery with business outcomes.

Location: London (Hybrid). Right to work in the UK is a requirement for this role.

What you will do

  • Provide technical direction and design oversight for Guidewire ClaimCenter solutions.
  • Manage and coach Guidewire developers across multiple experience levels, supporting their career growth.
  • Ensure adherence to engineering best practices, coding standards, and architectural principles.
  • Govern solution designs and high-quality integrations with external systems via APIs, messaging, and plugins.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and Architects within an Agile delivery model.
  • Act as the primary technical escalation point for complex development and integration issues.

Requirements

  • Must have the right to work in the UK.
  • Deep technical expertise in Guidewire ClaimCenter development (UI, workflows, Gosu scripting, GUnit tests).
  • Proven experience in technical leadership and managing software changes.
  • Strong proficiency in Gosu and Java.
  • Experience with CI/CD, source control, and release management (Git, Azure DevOps).
  • Certified in Guidewire v10 Integration and Configuration (ACE certification preferred).
