Assistant Buyer (m/f/d)

Location: Munich, Germany; hybrid setup with 3 office days per week. The position is limited to 1 year.

What you will do

• Support the category buyer with daily operational tasks and collaborate with Creative and Quality teams during product development.
• Manage product samples, quality specifications, and the product development cycle.
• Raise and supervise purchase orders and maintain related data.
• Handle warehouse, quality, and customer service queries.
• Coordinate with Asian and European business partners, photo shoots, and marketing samples.
• Use AI and automation tools to streamline sample follow-ups and data maintenance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or another relevant field.
• Strong organisational, time management, structured, and goal-oriented working style.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel.
• Fluency in English is required.

Nice to have

• Internship or initial work experience in a buying or sourcing office.
• German language skills.
