TL;DR

Associate Director, Institutional Portfolio Coverage (Finance): Managing and developing strategic relationships with global financial institutions to drive sustainable revenue growth with an accent on tailored banking solutions and risk management. Focus on coordinating cross-functional activity across credit and risk teams and leading a team of Associates.

Location: Hybrid (London) - spending at least three days per week (60%) at the London office

What you will do

  • Manage and develop strategic relationships with institutional clients, including global banks, insurers, and asset managers.
  • Deliver tailored banking solutions to support client ambitions and drive sustainable revenue growth for the Group.
  • Coordinate activity across Product, Credit, Risk, Sector, and Operations teams to ensure a consistent client experience.
  • Originate and execute new business opportunities while maintaining a strong focus on risk management and profitability.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of three Associates to create a high-performing work environment.

Requirements

  • 5 years’ experience managing and developing relationships with institutional clients within Corporate or Institutional Banking.
  • Strong knowledge of banking products and experience working with sectors such as banks, insurers, or financial sponsors.
  • Validated experience in assessing and managing credit risk, governance, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proven track record of supporting revenue growth and identifying business development opportunities.
  • Confirmed line management experience, including mentoring and developing colleagues.
