Senior Pre-Development Engineer (Kitchen Appliances)

What you will do

• Develop innovative functions and technical concepts for next-generation kitchen appliances with Marketing, Design, and Innovation teams.
• Extend existing platforms or create new platform architectures for future product pipelines.
• Translate commercial, functional, and aesthetic requirements into robust mechanical designs.
• Deliver function and platform solutions against performance, quality, and cost targets.
• Lead early-stage subsystem and system testing and validation with the Testing team.
• Define interfaces across mechanical, electronic, digital, industrialization, and sustainability domains, while assessing supplier innovations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related engineering field.
• Proven experience developing new functionality for consumer products.
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking with a systematic approach to problem solving.
• Creative mindset and ability to identify opportunities in new technologies and ideas.
• Quality-focused, pragmatic, and able to work effectively in a dynamic environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Design for Six Sigma.
• Black Belt certification.
