Support Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical Design) (2-year contract)

What you will do

• Develop and review electrical and mechanical design solutions for enhancement and development projects.
• Manage design development from concept and schematic design through construction details and prepare drawings, calculations, specifications, and quality-control deliverables.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, end users, contractors, and government authorities.
• Monitor construction progress and supervise project quality against specified standards.
• Manage project-wide document issuance, numbering, coding, and distribution.
• Evaluate design performance, construction materials, detailing, and new engineering systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Building Services, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 4 years of relevant design experience in building services, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Understanding of property development processes and E&M systems across building and resort-wide applications.
• Familiarity with local statutory requirements for E&M design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with medium- to large-scale commercial, retail, or hospitality projects.
