What you will do
- Monitor product and service operations using "Eyes on glass/Follow the sun" engagement models.
- Respond to production incidents, execute predefined responses, and escalate to higher support levels when necessary.
- Reduce manual operational effort by automating, configuring, and tweaking alerts and monitoring systems.
- Collaborate with development teams to document incident scenarios and prepare runbooks.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and prepare postmortem reports for client stakeholders.
- Write infrastructure and observability configuration code to improve product reliability in collaboration with SREs.
Requirements
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
- Proficiency in at least one Public Cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience managing workloads within container ecosystems such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
- Basic system administration skills in Linux (RHEL or Ubuntu).
- Willingness to be part of a rotation- and need-based 24x7 team.
