What you will do
- Design and implement new website features and functionality.
- Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins.
- Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and high availability.
- Maintain security, backups, and regular updates.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services.
- Collaborate with designers and content teams to deliver engaging user experiences.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer (2+ years preferred).
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
- Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON/XML formats.
- Must be based in the Philippines, Dominican Republic, or Nigeria.
Nice to have
- Experience with WooCommerce or other eCommerce platforms.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices.
- Familiarity with page builders like Elementor or WPBakery.
- Experience with website migration and performance testing.
