What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and enhance WordPress websites using PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Build custom WordPress themes and plugins from the ground up.
• Optimize website performance, responsiveness, accessibility, and maintainability for high-traffic sites.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Implement AI-assisted development workflows using modern tools.
• Participate in code reviews and adhere to secure coding best practices.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States (W2 Only; no C2C, H-1B sponsorship or transfers).
• Proven experience developing WordPress applications using PHP and JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience building custom WordPress themes and plugins.
• Strong understanding of WordPress architecture, including Hooks, Filters, Gutenberg (Block Editor), and REST API.
• Experience optimizing and maintaining high-traffic WordPress websites.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with WordPress VIP.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or ChatGPT.
• Experience with modern WordPress development and build tooling.
