What you will do

• Provide scientific leadership in drug development from target assessment through marketed products.
• Design, implement, and analyze non-GLP investigative and GLP regulatory studies for safety profiling.
• Provide veterinary clinical and technical expertise in protocol development, necropsy, and histopathology evaluations.
• Collaborate with toxicologists to develop streamlined and innovative safety assessment programs.
• Lead the authoring of high-quality scientific manuscripts and represent the company in meetings with regulatory authorities.
• Advance the application of digital pathology to improve scientific insights and workflow efficiencies.

Requirements

• DVM/VMD or equivalent degree.
• Board certification in the American College of Veterinary Pathology or European College of Veterinary Pathology.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience (if PhD is not held).
• Must be located in or able to work onsite in South San Francisco, CA.
• Strong expertise in histopathology and clinical pathology.

Nice to have

• PhD in Integrative Pathobiology or a related discipline.
