Salary: £36,000 – £40,000 plus 10% discretionary annual bonus

What you will do

• Manage a portfolio of household claims, including complex and high-value cases, from first notification to settlement.
• Interpret policy wordings, exclusions, and endorsements to determine coverage and liability.
• Produce accurate and cost-effective Schedules of Works for repair scopes.
• Assess cause of damage and quantum reports provided by third-party surveyors and engineers.
• Draft detailed technical reports with settlement recommendations and escalate large losses when necessary.
• Identify and investigate potentially fraudulent claims while maintaining high customer service standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Desktop Loss Adjusting experience.
• Proven experience in household claims handling (Buildings and Contents) across all perils.
• Experience managing contractor/building repair networks and loss adjusters.
• Proficiency in claims case management systems and technical report writing.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to make evidence-based decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Visa Status: Must have at least one year remaining on a Graduate or Post-Study Work visa; sponsorship is not available.

• Cert CII and/or BDMA accreditation (or currently working towards them).
