What you will do

• Lead and track certification processes for UAV systems to ensure alignment with project timelines and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with European and international standards, including CE conformity and EASA frameworks.
• Coordinate certification workstreams across engineering, production, quality assurance, and flight operations.
• Prepare and maintain technical files, declarations of conformity, and certification evidence packages.
• Support operational approvals based on SORA and specific-category requirements.
• Act as the primary interface for authorities, notified bodies, and external partners.

Requirements

• Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aviation, Regulatory Affairs, or comparable practical experience.
• Experience in certification or conformity assessment within Germany or the European Union.
• Hands-on experience in certifying technical products, ideally UAV or aviation systems.
• Strong knowledge of EASA regulations, CE conformity, and SORA-based operational approvals.
• Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into practical implementation steps.
• Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and quality teams.
