Junior AIT Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Immenstaad, Germany. Must be a citizen of an EU state or eligible to obtain a work permit for Germany.

What you will do

• Develop and execute functional tests within AIT satellite programs.
• Review and create test specifications and procedures.
• Define, implement, and debug test scripts.
• Support electrical integration activities and configure test systems for satellite/instrument tests.
• Prepare and evaluate test data and document results in test reports.
• Perform error analysis and NCR investigations.

Requirements

• Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Fluency in English.
• Initial experience in the field of functional satellite AIT.
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux systems.
• EU citizenship or eligibility for a German work permit.

Nice to have

• German language proficiency.
• Knowledge of ECSS standards.
• Knowledge of satellite communication, link encryption, and TM/TC (PUS).
