Senior Machine Learning Scientist, Agentic AI & GenAI Systems (Growth Marketing)

Total cash range: $173,000-$242,500 annually, with potential pay up to $277,000 based on sustained performance.

What you will do

• Architect, build, and ship enterprise-scale GenAI, RAG, and multi-agent systems end-to-end across frontend, backend, and user interfaces.
• Design hierarchical agent ecosystems with interactive generative UIs, dashboards, safety controls, and observability features.
• Develop contextual and episodic memory, knowledge graph augmentation, adaptive retrieval, vector memory, and agent orchestration systems.
• Build evaluation platforms using LLM-as-a-Judge, synthetic data generation, and agent trajectory assessment; train, fine-tune, adapt, and distill LLMs for production chatbots and GenAI products.
• Develop multimodal pipelines and large-scale behavioral embedding systems for personalization, audience targeting, propensity models, and next-best-action recommendations.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and design teams; mentor engineers and ML scientists; set technical standards and represent the organization through open source, patents, conferences, and publications.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, ML, and AI systems, including production GenAI deployments.
• Deep expertise in LLM training, adaptation, distillation, RLHF/DPO, and RAG systems.
• Strong NLP foundation and experience with multimodal AI, including vision-language models.
• Experience building and operating multi-agent AI platforms with observability and safety frameworks, including self-hosted orchestration such as LangGraph integrated with LLM APIs such as Claude.
• Strong background in distributed GPU training and inference, cloud infrastructure using AWS or Azure, container orchestration, and ML tooling.
• Demonstrated ability to lead end-to-end AI product development and ship user-facing features with product and design teams.
• Excellent communication skills, including presenting complex architecture and product concepts to executives.

Nice to have

• PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• Recognized industry presence through publications, patents, talks, or open-source contributions in LLMs, RAG, or agentic systems.
• Experience integrating multimodal LLM systems involving vision, audio, music, and structured data.
• Leadership in GenAI safety, evaluation, testing, and monitoring.
• Strong cross-disciplinary fluency across modeling, infrastructure, product, and design.
