Software Engineer (Agentic AI)

Location: In-person at the NYC HQ in Union Square, New York City, USA.

Salary: $175K–$300K annual compensation, plus equity.

What you will do

• Build and ship end-to-end agentic systems that improve creative workflows for short-form video.
• Design agent architectures for context gathering, planning, tool selection, and reliable execution at scale.
• Integrate state-of-the-art internal and external models into new agent experiences.
• Measure and improve agent quality in production through experimentation, evaluation frameworks, and real-world feedback.
• Work across product, machine-learning, and systems engineering while owning problems from definition through deployment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional industry experience.
• A production track record designing and developing ML systems or agentic pipelines.
• Deep experience with context engineering, including RAG systems, token optimization, and context management at scale.
• Experience building evaluation systems and agentic infrastructure covering context gathering, tool selection, and multi-step planning.
• Exceptional problem-solving fundamentals and the ability to learn quickly in a rapidly evolving environment.
• Ability to operate in an extremely fast-paced environment and scope and deliver projects end-to-end.
• Experience operating at senior or staff+ scope.

Nice to have

• Experience with multi-agent architectures.
• Experience fine-tuning LLMs for specific use cases.
• Awareness of developments in generative media and agentic AI technology.
• Collaborative, grounded approach and willingness to contribute broadly to team outcomes.
• Experience as a startup founder or early engineer.
