Salary: $180,000–$220,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead the full lifecycle of vulnerability management and CSPM, from discovery to remediation.
• Optimize security platforms, including policies, integrations, and automated reporting.
• Monitor cloud environments for misconfigurations and compliance drift, with a focus on AWS.
• Partner with DevOps and engineering teams to triage and resolve complex security issues.
• Align security practices with FedRAMP, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.
• Track and report key security KPIs and risk metrics to leadership.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident.
• Must reside in one of the approved U.S. states (CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, KS, ME, MA, MD, NJ, NC, NY, OR, TN, TX, VA, WA).
• 5+ years of experience in vulnerability management and 2+ years in cloud security.
• Hands-on experience with CSPM tools, vulnerability detection, and automation (e.g., Wiz, AWS Inspector, Nessus).
• Strong understanding of AWS security best practices and cloud-native architectures.
• Familiarity with vulnerability scoring systems like CVSS and risk-based prioritization.

Nice to have

• Certifications such as CISSP, AWS Security Specialty, or GIAC Cloud Security.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks like PCI DSS, HIPAA, SOX, or FedRAMP.
