IT Support Associate (Biotech)

What you will do

• Provide Tier 2 technical support for Windows and macOS environments, mobile devices, and collaboration tools like Zoom and Teams.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain laboratory IT systems, including instrument PCs and integrations with LIMS, ELN, and SDMS.
• Manage IT asset inventories, onboarding/offboarding, access management, and software installations.
• Ensure system security and compliance through consistent patching, antivirus updates, and encryption.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and vendors for instrument upgrades and integration projects.
• Document troubleshooting steps, system configurations, and maintain IT SOPs and validation procedures.

Requirements

• Associates degree with 2+ years of IT support experience in life sciences, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical industries.
• At least 1 year of experience supporting laboratory systems (e.g., LIMS, ELN, Sciex, ThermoFisher).
• Proficiency in Windows, macOS, networking, Azure AD, and Office 365.
• Experience with endpoint management systems such as JAMF Pro, Intune, Automox, or NinjaOne.
• Must be based in Boston, MA to adhere to the on-site working model (4 days per week).
