TL;DR
AI Automation Specialist (AI): Designing, building, and deploying scalable AI-powered workflows to reduce manual operational work with an accent on API integrations and workflow automation. Focus on connecting AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude with business systems via Zapier, Make, and n8n.
Location: Remote (Must be based in Kenya or South Africa). Working hours: U.S. Business Hours

What you will do
- Analyze operational workflows to identify automation opportunities and translate business requirements into scalable workflows.
- Build and deploy automations using Zapier, Make, n8n, and Power Automate.
- Integrate AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini into day-to-day business operations.
- Connect disparate systems using APIs and webhooks to ensure reliable data flow.
- Monitor and optimize workflow reliability, speed, and output accuracy.
- Create and maintain structured SOPs and detailed documentation for all automation logic.
Requirements
- Proven experience in workflow automation, process optimization, and AI workflow implementation.
- Hands-on proficiency with Zapier, Make, n8n, or Power Automate.
- Experience integrating APIs and AI tools (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google AI).
- Strong understanding of webhooks, data structures, and automation logic.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Must be based in Kenya or South Africa.
Nice to have
- Programming experience in Python or JavaScript.
- Experience with Google Sheets, Airtable, and Notion.
- Familiarity with HubSpot, Salesforce, ClickUp, or Slack.
- Knowledge of prompt engineering and RPA tools like UiPath.
