Salary: $216,000 — $332,000 USD

What you will do

• Act as lead architect for "Customer Zero," testing and deploying Alpha identity security features within Okta’s internal IAM environment.
• Design internal blueprints for anti-session hijacking using Okta DBSSO and Chrome DBSC to protect endpoints from token exfiltration.
• Lead the technical effort to open-source tools developed by the Customer Zero team to build a thriving community ecosystem.
• Define how Okta identity is integrated into modern AI orchestration layers like LangChain, n8n, AWS AgentCore, and Google Vertex ADK.
• Serve as a thought leader by leading a "how-to" video series, podcast, and presenting at major events like Oktane.

Requirements

• 8+ years of IT/software development and technical architecture experience.
• 3+ years of specialized experience in IAM/Security Architecture.
• Deep hands-on knowledge of OAuth2/OIDC, SAML, mTLS, JWT, and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Proven track record of securing non-human identities (NHIs) or machine-to-machine infrastructure in production.
• Ability to author Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) and influence stakeholders at the VP/CTO level.
• Elite verbal and written communication skills for C-suite interaction and public presentations.
