Cloud Desktop Support Technician (Azure)

Location: Remote in Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Honduras, Panama, Peru, El Salvador, or Uruguay. The position is for the 3rd shift and may require travel to a client site.

What you will do

• Act as an escalation point for complex Azure, hybrid cloud, vSphere, and infrastructure issues.
• Monitor, analyze, and resolve incidents across Azure, Windows, Linux, network, and application environments.
• Install, configure, and administer Azure resources, firewalls, VPNs, routing, load balancing, and monitoring platforms.
• Investigate logs, telemetry, alerts, patching issues, and undocumented troubleshooting scenarios.
• Drive automation and operational improvements using PowerShell, CLI, Bicep, and ARM templates.
• Mentor Cloud Technicians, contribute to documentation, lead P1 client bridges, and communicate directly with customers.

Requirements

• 3+ years of system administration or cloud support experience in Windows/Linux or mixed environments.
• 2+ years of experience with networking and security, including firewalls, VPNs, load balancing, and policy-based routing.
• Proven Azure administration experience; managed service provider experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience with PowerShell, CLI, ARM templates, or Bicep, plus strong troubleshooting and log-analysis skills.
• Previous experience in 24x7 managed services, hosted environments, or NOC operations.
• Ability to pass a government background check and work remotely from an eligible LATAM country.

Nice to have

• Experience with an Azure Expert MSP, CI/CD practices, Palo Alto or Azure firewalls, Ubuntu, or RHEL.
• Microsoft certifications such as AZ-900, AI-900, DP-900, SC-900, MS-900, AZ-104, or AZ-700.
