Retention Associate

Retention Associate (Marketing): Develop and deploy high-performing email and SMS campaigns for DTC and e-commerce clients with an accent on lifecycle marketing strategy, creative copywriting, and campaign automation. Focus on executing data-driven retention marketing tactics, managing client communications, and collaborating with design teams to enhance customer loyalty and lifetime value.

Location: Remote role open only to candidates based in Brazil, Portugal, and Spain, supporting a team in the EST time zone.

What you will do

• Execute data-driven email and SMS retention marketing campaigns and flows for clients.
• Write, proofread, and schedule marketing copy for email and SMS communications.
• Manage client revision and approval processes for campaign content.
• Develop creative campaign concepts and collaborate with in-house design teams.
• Set up automation logic, pop-ups, and app integrations to optimize campaigns.
• Partner closely with Retention Marketing Managers to align strategies and execution.

Requirements

• Must be based in Brazil, Portugal, or Spain.
• 2-4 years of experience in digital marketing, copywriting, growth marketing, or e-commerce.
• Experience with Klaviyo or similar email service providers.
• Strong creative writing skills and passion for retention marketing.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced agency or client environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
