What you will do
- Answer inbound calls and chats with empathy and clarity to help members navigate their benefits.
- Explain complex concepts like deductibles, copays, and coinsurance to members.
- Identify in-network providers and assist with account updates or status requests.
- Connect members to virtual care programs and guide them through enrollment steps.
- Document all interactions accurately in CRM systems to ensure continuity of care.
- Meet quality audit and member satisfaction targets consistently.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience OR 5+ years of relevant healthcare/benefits experience.
- Must be able to complete a 3-week paid training period (10 a.m. - 7 p.m. EST) with no time off.
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience handling high-volume inbound calls using VoIP systems.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and CRM software.
- Ability to maintain a secure, distraction-free home office environment.
