What you will do

• Automate provisioning processes for user intake, workspace creation, and core data warehouse access.
• Build and configure workspaces in PreProd and Prod environments, including security and access controls.
• Manage linked services, mount points, and integrations between Databricks and the VHA Data Lake.
• Develop and maintain Databricks catalogs to support streamlined data discovery and governed access.
• Collaborate with security and analytics stakeholders to ensure compliant and efficient workspace operations.
• Provide support to new and existing users to ensure strong adoption and high satisfaction.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• Ability to obtain and maintain a suitability/Public Trust clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field
• 12+ years of experience in cloud tools, Databricks, and Data Lake integrations
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience with cloud identity and access management (IAM) and role-based access control (RBAC)

Nice to have

• Azure Administrator or AWS Cloud Practitioner certification
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, and Python
• Background supporting public sector or healthcare data environments
• Knowledge of Delta Lake or similar structured storage solutions
