What you will do

• Design and develop electrical assemblies, Bills of Materials, and component selections for high-performance heat pumps.
• Create detailed technical documentation, including 3D models and 2D/3D drawings (PLM tools, SolidWorks, AutoCAD valued).
• Design internal wire harnesses and electrical schematics to ensure robust and efficient system performance.
• Contribute to installation materials design, including consumer units and wire harnesses for hirify.global installations.
• Participate in project meetings, report progress to product management, and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.
• Explore and integrate innovative materials (e.g., plastics and sheet metal) to improve quality, sustainability, and long-term reliability.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of product development experience, with electrical and mechanical design of household products as an advantage.
• Experience using 2D/3D tools for electrical connections and cable routing (SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD or similar).
• Knowledge of LVD, EN60335-1, RED, and EMC directives, plus experience with regulatory certification requirements and compliance.
• Experience with consumer units and selection of circuit components.
• Experience with materials such as plastics and metals is an advantage.
• Open mindset and interest in working in a fast-scaling start-up environment.
