What you will do

• Lead day-to-day technical integration across hardware, payloads, and embedded subsystems to resolve interface conflicts.
• Maintain traceability between requirements, design, and verification across integration activities.
• Translate technical constraints between hardware, software, payload, and systems engineering teams.
• Identify and resolve technical dependencies across teams to prevent integration blockers.
• Introduce structure, documentation, and change control into the integration function.
• Perform hands-on troubleshooting and testing on the floor and at the bench.

Requirements

• Proven system integration experience in hardware, payload, embedded, defence, or aviation environments.
• Technical depth sufficient to operate as a peer with engineers.
• Track record of owning technical dependencies and interfaces across multiple engineering disciplines.
• Background in systems/hardware engineering or technical program management with hands-on exposure.
• Experience in complex technical programs within defence, aerospace, automotive, or similar regulated sectors.
• Fluent German and professional English.

Nice to have

• Experience building or scaling a technical integration team from scratch.
• Background in UAS, C-UAS, or loitering munition systems.
• Familiarity with formal systems engineering tooling for requirements and change control.
• Prior experience in a scale-up or fast-growth engineering environment.
