What you will do

• Perform research and development on optical transmission systems and subsystems.

Requirements

• Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
• Experience in embedded systems and FPGAs.
• Proficiency in Python, Matlab, C++, and Java.
• Strong knowledge of optical transmission technologies and fiber effects.
• Fluent in English (oral and written).
• Laboratory experience in optical system characterization.

Nice to have

• Experience in coherent optical transmission, optical modulation, or optical switching.
• Fluency in German.
