Technical Product Manager (Storage)

What you will do

• Own and manage the product backlog for storage service teams (block, file, parallel/HPC, and object storage)
• Lead cross-company initiatives on data durability, performance, capacity, and cost
• Define product requirements at the technical level including data paths, consistency models, replication, and performance
• Make informed technical trade-offs on durability, availability, latency, throughput, and cost
• Partner with marketing and sales teams on technical publications and customer engagement
• Ensure delivery of storage services meeting high standards for durability, availability, performance, scalability, and cost efficiency

Requirements

• Must have hands-on experience building cloud storage products in senior engineering or technical leadership roles
• Deep understanding of storage systems internals including block, file, and object storage architectures, distributed storage, replication, erasure coding, and data paths
• Familiarity with NVMe/NVMe-oF, iSCSI, POSIX and parallel file systems, Ceph, S3-compatible object storage, and RDMA-based data paths
• Ability to reason quantitatively about IOPS, throughput, latency, and cost per usable TB
• Strong expertise in at least two areas: block storage, file/parallel file systems, distributed storage internals, storage performance engineering, or object storage at scale
• Proven track record of delivering complex technical initiatives requiring cross-team coordination

Nice to have

• Experience with storage for AI/ML training pipelines and large-scale HPC workloads
• Experience creating technical documentation, guides, or reference architectures for storage products
