FinCrime Analyst (Fintech)

What you will do

• Review sanctions watchlist alerts generated by automated systems and manual reports.
• Investigate PEP screening alerts using due diligence and customer screening systems.
• Escalate potential sanctions issues or suspicious activity to the Head of Compliance or MLRO.
• Assist with the validation of alert systems and participate in testing new releases.
• Respond to and remediate issues identified by the Quality Control team.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to solve cases and deliver customer value.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Fluency in English and Spanish (C1+ level) required.
• 1+ years of screening experience or 2+ years of FinCrime experience.
• Must be able to work from the Mexico City office.
• Understanding of FinCrime risk categories including PEP, sanctions, and adverse media.
• Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends.

Nice to have

• Degree in law or STEM subject.
• Professional certification such as ICA or ACAMS.
• Fluency in additional languages.
