Salary: $180,000–$220,000

What you will do

• Define and evolve SRE standards, including incident response, postmortems, and SLOs.
• Operate and maintain Develocity instances and supporting services in production.
• Lead incident response and blameless retrospectives to drive measurable reliability improvements.
• Drive automation across deployment, monitoring, recovery, and operational workflows.
• Partner with engineering leadership to balance feature delivery with operational excellence.
• Mentor and coach SREs to support technical growth and strong operational practices.

Requirements

• 7+ years in SRE, DevOps, or equivalent production-scale roles.
• Strong Kubernetes experience in production environments.
• Cloud infrastructure expertise, preferably AWS (EKS, RDS, S3, EC2).
• Proficiency with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Scripting proficiency (Python, Bash) for automation.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience as a founding or early SRE in a growing SaaS organization.
• Familiarity with Develocity.
• JVM language experience (Java, Kotlin).
• Experience with customer-facing and executive-level incident communications.
